What began as a desperate need (and God-directed call) for restoration of my spiritual and emotional condition (following heartbreaking life events), has transformed (through that restoration) into another God-directed project to share His glorious creation with all of His children.  There is no question in my heart or soul that I encounter our Creator every single time I pause to appreciate even the smallest of His creation.  As I spend time photographing in all types of wilderness I learn more of what He asks me to be, more of what He wishes to reveal, and more (I believe) of what He asks me to share with others.  I am not a theologian - I am simply a woman who has endured heartache and loss, who also recognizes my own broken contributions to my life.  Through daily prayer, I receive the unquestionable message that to heal, I need to take time to just be and "listen" to creation.  To do this, I need to go out and encounter our Creator visually and physically, by seeking out these amazing places in person.  It is my prayer that the images captured and words that rise from them will give others an opportunity to encounter our Creator in their own very personal way, even if they are unable to physically be there themselves.
